All things Roses

January 13, 2019

After a lovely Christmas my husband Mark and I are working hard on our B&B as we are scheduled to open on June 23, 2019.

We have recently joined the Port Perry B&B Association and need now to get focused on the remaining renos and administration work.

The extension of my Antiquity Rose dreams,  my wee antique shop and soon to be my B&B in our peaceful old 1895 farm house, in North Nestleton.

June 26, 2018…I just got back from Paris, my second home.

It was an exciting adventure from the moment I decided to go on my own.  As many of you know I’ve been trying to get a tour off the ground with the help of a great touring company DeNure Tours and well there was lots of interest however it didn’t happen this year.  I had the week off and just 3 weeks ago decided to book the trip and go.

At first I was nervous as I’ve never traveled alone however it changed me, empowered me, and I had a fantastic trip.

I was able to do all that was on my to do list and then some.  Highlights were a trip to Lisieux, a Toastmasters Meeting with English speaking members and to see the hotel that DeNure Tours is offering for my trip next year……as I truly believe all need to see Paris.

More info to follow…trying to get a bit more done daily on the apartment…the future B&B.
